What does a WMS cost?

The licence a WMS runs on starts at €515 per month; the build of your setup is billed by the hour. After the blueprint in weeks 2 to 3 you have a fixed price and schedule.

The price has two parts: the licence and the build.

The licence is a fixed monthly price. There are six sizes, from €515 per month, and hosting in the Netherlands, DevOps, security, backups and daily updates are part of every size. You can cancel monthly.

The build is the setup of your warehouse: receiving, put-away, picking and dispatch as one flow, connected to your scanners, scales and label printers. That work is billed by the hour, with project work, SLA work and out-of-hours work itemised separately on the invoice.

What the build costs depends on scope. That is why you get a fixed price and schedule after the blueprint in weeks 2 to 3, before the building starts.

Four things set the scope.

  • Your process: which steps run from dock to departure, and which picking strategy fits your order profile
  • Your equipment: scanners, scales, ZPL label printers, conveyors and robots connect natively, but every connection is work
  • Your integrations: accounting, carriers and webshops take part from day one
  • Your volumes: the number of orders and users decides which licence size fits

How the quote comes together.

We start with a conversation about your warehouse, not about software. In weeks 2 and 3 we design the blueprint: the system, the list of integrations and a fixed price with a schedule. What we agree is what gets built.

After that we build in short rounds and you watch along weekly in your own environment. A first working version is usually there in 6 to 12 weeks.

What it delivers once it runs.

At W.K. Heyl Jr. order processing, stock and the sorting line run entirely on Core, with 80% fewer picking errors and orders ready to ship within minutes. Every warehouse is different, so we would rather calculate from your situation than from an average.

The questions we get most about WMS costs

Three questions we hear in nearly every first conversation.

What does a WMS cost per month?

The licence starts at €515 per month for the smallest size. Which size fits depends on your real volumes: automations, data traffic, storage and the number of developers. You can cancel monthly, and the price includes hosting, security and backups.

How quickly is a WMS up and running?

A first working version is usually there in 6 to 12 weeks. How many processes and integrations it carries decides where in that range you land. After the blueprint in weeks 2 to 3 you have a fixed schedule.

Are the connections to our equipment included in the price?

The blocks that drive scanners, scales, ZPL label printers, conveyors and robots are part of Core as standard. Setting them up for your building is part of the build and sits in the blueprint with a fixed price.
