Products go to whichever destination is right at that moment: a chute, a workstation or a buffer. Change the order and the destination changes with it.

When a workstation fills up, the line pushes tasks on to a quieter one. Without anyone having to move staff around.
Picking on the line
Staff get their instruction by scanner, voice or colour signal, matched to whatever works at that station.
Put-away and shelving
Products are routed to the storage spot that takes the least movement, with support for heavy parcels and tight locations.
