# Here you build systems people actually work with every day

RUAL is a team of 25 in Brummen. We build business software, warehouses, robotics and AI on our own platform, and we stay with it once it runs.

## What you work on

Three kinds of work, one platform underneath. Most people here touch all three.

- **[Business software](https://rual.nl/en/company-software)** — Order and stock management, planning and invoicing, built around a customer process rather than the other way round. You are usually at the table with the person who will use it.

- **[Warehouses and robotics](https://rual.nl/en/warehouse)** — WMS, real-time control of conveyors, sorters and label printers, and robot cells on DOBOT hardware among others. Software you can watch move on the floor.

- **[The platform itself](https://rual.nl/en/platform)** — Core, our own no-code environment: building blocks, the Flow Editor, data, AI and the clusters it all runs on. Work that every customer environment feels.

## Whoever designs it builds it, and answers the phone afterwards

Support and build are the same team here. It is the most important choice we have made about our work, and you notice it everywhere: in how we design, in what we dare promise and in how fast something gets fixed.

- You talk to the customer yourself, with no account manager in between

- You build with blocks on our own platform, not against a framework

- What you ship runs in production, at companies you can go and visit

- When something breaks, the person who built it is the one who fixes it

## What we look for

We do not have a role profile with tick boxes. This is what actually matters here.

- **You finish things** — A flow that is 90% built is not finished. That last ten per cent is exactly the part a warehouse manager runs into, so it is the part that counts.

- **You can explain it** — You talk to warehouse managers, growers, planners and directors. Being able to explain what you are building and why matters as much here as the building itself.

- **You want to be on the floor** — The work is often in a warehouse, beside a production line or next to a robot arm. You do not have to be an engineer in overalls, but you do have to want to stand there.

## Where you sit

Our office is in Brummen. This is where things get designed, built and tested, and where the table is that customers sit down at. The servers live elsewhere, at BIT in Ede, and you can go and see those too.
